BowlsHub entries made easy with card payments

With continued updates and improvements to the BowlsHub system, players and clubs can now pay event entry fees by credit or debit card at the point of entry. This is now our preferred and encouraged payment method, helping make entries quicker, simpler, and more secure.

Bank transfer and invoicing options remain available for a limited time, with key process notes outlined below.


WHAT’S CHANGED?

Previously, entries were submitted without payment, with fees paid later via online banking. While workable, this created delays and required manual reconciliation.

BowlsHub now offers a fully integrated card payment solution, allowing entries to be paid and secured instantly.

Card payments are processed securely through Pin Payments, a third-party merchant provider. A small service fee for card payments applies to cover transaction and platform costs, which help support continued system development and improvements.

Card Payment Fees (Card Payments Only)

  • 2% + $0.28 NZD – Merchant fee (Pin Payments)
  • 2% – Platform fee (MemberPoint / BowlsHub)


FOR PLAYERS

Paying by Credit/Debit Card (Preferred Option)

  • Complete your entry in BowlsHub and follow the prompts to pay by card.
  • You’ll receive an automated BowlsHub email confirming your entry is secured, along with your entry registration number.

 Paying by Bank Transfer (Available Until June 2026)

Players may still pay by bank transfer for a limited time by following these steps:

  • Complete the entry details in BowlsHub.
  • At the Agree to Ts & Cs section, tick the box, close the tab, and proceed to the payment screen.
  • Follow the prompts to complete your payment via bank transfer.
  • If the payment portal is closed without payment, your entry will be recorded as tentative and updated to secured once payment is received and processed. You will then receive an automated confirmation email, including your registration number. 

FOR CLUBS

  • Clubs can pay entry fees via: Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer or Invoice
  • Clubs paying by bank transfer should follow the same entry process outlined above.
  • Invoices can be requested once the entry has been completed by emailing [email protected]

Important Conditions

  • All manual payments are reconciled weekly.
  • All entries must be paid by the event closing date.
  • Only secured entries will be included in the draw.
  • Late or unpaid entries will be waitlisted and may only be accepted at the controlling body’s discretion.
