2026 Winter Development Programme
Who’s it for
The 2026 Winter Development Programme is back, providing junior bowlers and those with 0–5 years of experience the opportunity to learn, improve, and grow their game in a supportive team environment.
Participants will then have the opportunity to represent their zone in the season-ending tournaments: Campi Cup (Women), Canoe Trophy (Men), ABCA Cup (Any Combination). Players must attend winter coaching to be eligible to enter and play in the tournaments.
More than just coaching, the programme is about building confidence, creating friendships, and fostering a lifelong passion for the sport.
What you’ll learn
The programme delivers six to seven weeks of focused coaching covering all aspects of lawn bowls – from technique and delivery to improving shot selection under pressure, tactical awareness, communication & teamwork, to developing mental strategies to improve your game.
