The 2025 Winter Coaching Programme returns, offering junior bowlers (1–5 years’ experience) a structured and supportive environment to develop their skills, game understanding, and confidence.

Running over six Saturdays, this programme is the cornerstone of junior bowls development in Auckland — designed to help players grow in all aspects of the game, from technical delivery to tactical awareness, team play, and mental approach.

With sessions delivered by experienced coaches and tailored to suit developing bowlers, players will train in one of five regional zones, preparing to proudly represent their area in the season-ending junior tournaments. (See event Pages)

🗓 Programme Details

📅 Dates: Saturdays, 28 June – 2 August 2025 (6 consecutive weeks)

⏰ Time: Morning sessions (9:00am–12:00pm unless otherwise advised)

👥 Who: All 1–5 year bowlers keen to develop their game, New Players are welcome

🎓 Focus Areas: Technique, shot selection, communication, etiquette, and tournament preparation
