Mixed 2-4-2 Pairs

Contested over a three-day spectacular — with two action-packed days of section play before the top 32 duos battle it out on Finals Day.

💰 A share of $10,000 across four flights is up for grabs!
💰Entry Fee: $120 per team

Games kick off 9:00 am sharp, each day.

  • Headquarters: Howick Bowling Club

  • Section Play: Howick, Mt Eden, Pt Chevalier, Te Atatū

✈️ Travelling in? Stay nearby in Pakuranga, Mount Wellington, Penrose, or Ellerslie for quick access to eastern clubs and motorways.


✏️ Format

Qualifying Rounds – 28 & 29 December

  • Up to 3 rounds per day

  • 5 qualifying rounds over two days (3+2)

  • Sections of up to 8 teams

  • Top 4 in each section progress

  • First elimination round played on Day 2

Post-Section Finals – 30 December

  • Venue: Howick Bowling Club

  • Quarterfinals, Semifinals & Finals (across 4 divisions of 8 duos)

  • A championship Semifinal & the Final match will be broadcast on Sky TV (Channel 52) and our YouTube Channel.

👥 Who Can Enter?

This event is open to all World Bowls affiliated clubs and players with a Bowlshub ID (see entries).

  • Mixed Pairs – grab your partner and get in the game!

  • Perfect for testing your competitive form, right before the Bowls New Zealand Summerset Nationals.


👕 Dress Code

Look sharp, play sharp. Wear your club kit, colours, or coordinated team attire.


⌛ Entries

  • All entries via BowlsHub only

  • Missed the cut-off? Don’t stress – late entries go on the waitlist (allocation at the discretion of the controlling body).

🌏 International players: Sign up at bowlshub.co.nz/signup and select “International” as your club.

Help keep the greens pristine:

  • No smoking, e-cigarettes, vaping, or alcohol on the greens.

  • Respect the environment, respect the game.
