Optional Junior Fours | Howick Bowling Club | Sunday 16 August
Following the spirited competition of the Campi and Canoe events, the spotlight shifts to the ABCA Cup β a one-day optional fours tournament that celebrates unity, development, and the rich legacy of junior bowls coaching in Auckland.
Hosted at Howick and Pakuranga Bowling Clubs, the ABCA Cup brings together male and female junior bowlers from across the winter coaching programme, forming zone teams that reflect collaboration and shared growth. This event is more than just a finale β itβs a tribute to the enduring impact of the Auckland Bowling Coaches Association (now Bowls Auckland Coaches Committee), whose work laid the foundations for the junior development pathway we see today.
