The Bowls Auckland Coaches Committee plays a vital role in strengthening our game, supporting initiatives to attract, retain, develop, and promote coaching across the region, both at club and regional level. A key focus is engaging and supporting those new to our great sport.

A major responsibility of the Committee is overseeing and delivering the Year 0–5 Winter Programme (formerly run by the ABCA). This includes a development programme followed by the popular Campi, Canoe, and ABCA Cup tournaments.

The Committee is made up of five convenors, each responsible for a regional zone, being Central, East, South-East, South-West, and West, whilst being supported by up to two of Bowls Auckland team, including the Coach Development Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your coaching capability while contributing to a rewarding and enjoyable experience for players, clubs, and the wider bowls community.
