Get ready, Auckland – a fresh, fast-paced way to play bowls is here!

With the rise of shorter-format bowls and Bowls New Zealand no longer running the National Bowls 3Five finals, Bowls Auckland saw the perfect chance to launch something new, tailored to our community.

Rapid Roll is a brand-new category of fast, fun, social, and competitive bowls. It’s for everyone: seasoned pros, casual rollers, and complete newcomers alike. There will be three Rapid Roll events. Each one offers a different format with its own personality, so there’s a place for every player.

Picture this…You roll up after work. The sun is out, the sausage sizzle is on, the music’s playing, uniforms are bright, the atmosphere’s buzzing, and games are short and snappy. That’s Rapid Roll — where community meets competition –  you come for the bowls and stay as much for the people!

We’re kicking things off with the Rapid Roll Open Pairs — played over three Tuesday evenings in October (7, 14 & 21). It’s a unique twist on the game where every bowl counts!

3 players per team (2 play, 1 scores), 3 rounds per night, 6pm – 7:30pm
